2008 BMW M3

While in Europe I was immersed in BMW's and Audi's all over the streets. These were the cars of choice over there. This leads me to asking the question. Which one would you buy? 2008 BMW M3 or 2008 Audi RS4 ? That is thy the question. Contender #1: Audi stuffed a monster V-8 into it's hood producing 420 HP 0-60 approx 4.3 - 4.91 seconds depending on which magazine did the test drive. Contender #2 A disappearance in the last year and coming back in 2008 with a nose job(hood bump to contain the bigger engine) the BMW M3 with a V8 producing approx 420 hp as well. This car is so impressive compared to the last generation as it will be producing at least 115 more HP.

So far Audi has impressive performance with live numbers. Although my money will be on BMW as they have to much pride to just let Audi take it from them. The X-Factor that is finally coming to the states is the 2008 Nissan Skyline GTR! This machine is supposedly producing anywhere from 400 to 500 HP in a V-6 3.8 liter. 2008 400+ hp shootout should be very exciting.

Hyundai i20Hyundai has released more official images of the subcompact i20. Slated to debut at the upcoming Paris International Motor Show on October 2nd, the i20 will replace the Getz/Click/TB. Slotting between the i10 and i30, the i20 is designed with the European market in mind - emphasizing build quality, comfort, and value.

The Hyundai i20 rides on an all new platform. Its new styling is highlighted by the bold side creases and an overall European impression that cues the Opel Corsa. It will be offered with 1.2L and 1.4L petrol engines, a 1.4L diesel engine, and a new 1.4L common-rail diesel that will power the fuel-sipping i20 i-Blue. The i-Blue's eco-friendly diesel produces 89 bhp and 162 lb.ft of torque. It features a 6-speed manual transmission rather than the standard 5-speed manual, low-resistance tires, under-floor covers, aerodynamic changes, and low-friction engine oil. These changes result in an emission rating of 99g/km of CO2 and achieve 68MPG.

More details will be released when the i20 debuts at the Paris Motor Show on October 2nd. A three-door variant is expected to be released a few months after the five-door's debut.
